Good. Just finished learning 4LL. 2x2x3 is weak point, since I have to make a 1x2x2 block without inspection. Overall, though, blockbuilding is okay.

I need a "the Morrison brothers and their CFOP reaction".

What's your current average?

Yeah 2x2x3 is just crazy, I ended up basically ’learning’ a bunch of different positions’ solution (or algs if you prefer) then setting them up in solves.

Kind of like how in F2L you develop a way you do each setup, even though you aren't learning algs?

I average like 1:20 (I know, super slow), but every now and then get a 1:50.

Yeah, blockbuilding always takes a while to figure out at first. I suggest you stick to one method of blockbuilding first (e.g. do 2x2x2 by doing partial cross, corner insert, keyhole style edge insert) for all the steps, then expand your knowledge of cases and things.
