That is ok. I had trouble with it also. But this will help, transitioning is a little difficult, but I got all my big cube pbs by doing what's called "free slicing this levels EVERYTHING up. You'll get it. I know you will.
There are 8 slots. I solve 3x3 using 2x1 bars,then a 3x1 bar. Then on 5x5,I solve 3x1 bar,two 4x1 bars,then lastly 5x1 bar. It sort of "spirals"outwards.
Sorta like how you do for 6x6,but spinning outwards instead of parallel solving(i guess that is the term)how do you like 5x5?
Literally sacrificed 5x5 to modify 7x7 to maintain good feel. (5x5 R.I.P.)
Cool. I like odd numbered cubes more, but i know people who like it the other way, like you. What do you think of 4x4? 4x4 is kinda cool...
Cool! So what was the record before? And if you know what you did differently, you can probably beat it again! And what is your average average(sounds weird)and pb average? This sounds cool...
It was actually super surprising, my previous pb single was 52.14 (which was a drop of 6 seconds), but this one wasn’t too big of a drop. I think I just had good lookahead and turning. I average 1:05-1:10 and my PB avg is 1:04.60.
I kinda knew how to, but really have never used it in 6x6 and 7x7 before. Thank you for the help, though, I plan to use it at my competition on Friday!
So what was the record before, and what did you do differently? If you did it once, you can do it again. If you can do it again, you can do it better next time. That's my motto. 9:12...cool.
