Well the comp ended a few days ago, but rn I have the motivation to talk about
First day we had fmc, multi, 5-7
For fmc I did a post above but I found a 41 moves solution but wrote it wrong on the paper so had to correct but I only had like 2 minutes left so I DNFed
For mulți I did 9 cubes to hopefully podium...but I got 4/9 so DNF, podium was also easy only 4 points but oh well, next time NR trust
And for 5x5 and 6x6 I got for both OVERALL PBS, on 5x5 the single being PB BY 13 SECONDS : D
On the 2nd day we had all the side events and OH
On clock, Pyraminx and square-1 nothing good nor PBs, pyra was decent but not enough
Then on Megaminx I got some huge PRs by over 30 seconds
and they were also almost PBs
On OH I was able to get double PR single, with my first sub 20 officially yayayay
And then skewb, which ive been practicing non stop for, I wanted to win and get NR average and a decent single, in first round I was able to get 3 REALLY GOOD TIMES, I had counting 2.2 and 2.5, but then nerves got to me, and the last 2 solves weren't 1 lockable for me, so I missed NR by 0.13
But at least i got sub 3 avg and a nice 1.88 single, so thats 1 goal
Then for finals I wasn't shaking that bad like in the first round but the start was worse, with counting a 3 on the 3rd solve alr, so I had to lock in, I got a 2.6 decent, and for NR I just needed a 2.47, i didnt think it was possible but...it didnt happen, I got close tho with 2.69, the scramble was just too many moves, which I did them surprisingly without lock ups but not fast enough
But still I got another PR of 2.87 which is NR2 and now i hold 2nd and 3rd best avgs in romania : D
Ill get NR in October tho trust
And now 3rd day where I had 2-4 and bld
For 2x2 who cares I didnt practice cll enough and wasn't able to make finals or PR
For 4x4 I did really good for me, I even got a 40 seconds single, which was PB2 at the time : 0
But then I counted a 56 and 54 so no sub 50 avg and no finals
Then 3x3 where I had 2 rounds, and in the very first solve of the competition I GOT MY FIRST SUB 10, PR BY 2 WHOLE SECONDS LIEK WHAT????
Sadly I didnt record that round
But still so happy nonetheless, the avg wasnt nothing good cuz i counted a 16, and on the 2nd round I also counted smth over 15 so no PR avg
And last even 3bld, where in the first round I got 3 successes but gave up on the last solve cuz it was too hard so no ao5, but i got 1:45 single which was decent and I made finals being 10th
But in finals...i dodnt even wanna talk, my best was 2:11 because I DNFed a 1:40 by flipped edge bruh, either way I wouldn't have podiumed but PR would have been nice, I did came 6th romanian so not that bad
But yea this comp was fun, I had some great times and hopefully ill go to another comp in October with 1 round of skewb, until then I think ill practice skewb like crazy as always, but also 3x3 and 4x4, I really enjoy those events and want to become good
