I believe that PAO is superior to regular images if done properly. With regular images, you end up improvising some sort of interaction between the images anyway. PAO simply codifies the interaction and allows you to store more memorization because the action is storing some information as well...

Why on earth would you switch colour schemes? Having white on top is actually good because it's more likely that scramblers will set your cube down that way.

Well, turbo gives you an easy way to solve any corner 3 cycle fairly quickly. So you can take your time learning BH, and slowly incorporate the easy cases into your solves, while still using turbo to solve the ones you aren't comfortable with.

I definitely don't think Turbo can hinder your progress in BH should you choose to use it later. You can start learning commutators at whatever pace you like, and switch from turbo to BH when you feel comfortable. Plus, knowing BH will allow you to slowly incorporate BH cases that you know into...

I'm not fond of this idea. It would take a fair amount of effort to execute and I feel like its a bad idea to have part of the cube state displayed on the scorecard. What if we were to assign one person at each scrambling table the role of checking the scrambled cube against the picture...

The U2 method sounds a lot better than this IMO, but I still think center comms are by far the easiest and can be learned with minimal effort. Sounds stressful and rage inducing to me. :p

I think that this is a reasonable course of action. We can't just give competitors more solves because they claim a corner was twisted during scrambling. Given that we can't review video evidence, it is way to easy to quickly and subtly twist a corner when you know a solve is going to be slow...

If you are really adamant about not learning full BH then obviously memorizing which alg is necessary for each case will make you faster because you won't have to visualize where the stickers are going. So yes, I'd say there isn't any reason why that wouldn't improve your times with turbo.
