    Random draw: win a Gan 11 M Pro 3x3!

I was averaging around 11 with CFOP going into quarantine, and in May/June I decided to switch to ZZ for 2H (and I'd been using it for OH for about a year, so i had a good idea of how to solve with it.) After learning how to plan EOCross, learning good F2L algs, and doing many thousands of...

[Help Thread] ZZ and ZB Discussion

A few tips: 1. Don't focus too much on LL. In fact, do not learn COLL, because it's slower than OCLL/PLL and it's a waste of time. You should learn how to recognize COLL if you want to learn a significant chunk of ZBLL later down the road, but it shouldn't be your main focus now. As for...

makes more sense to just orient corners while doing belt so that you only have edge parity which can be dealt with easily

RiceMan_'s progression thread (road to sub-10)

Some tips for sub 10 with ZZ: -Make sure you can fully plan EOCross in inspection, and also make sure you can fingertrick your solutions in such a way that they're fast enough. Be x2y neutral so you can take advantage of a large amount of potential EOCrosses. -Learn good F2L algs. Since...

    The Layer by Layer Podcast

I'm not method neutral, but I'm sub 8 with ZZ and sub 9 with Roux so I've tried it before. And I have to say that honestly, its probably not worth it except special solves where you see something super easy with a method you don't main (5 move eocross or FB + DR for example)

    The ZZVolution.

people talking about big 4 not realizing that the big 1 with only roux is OO
