Nevermind, just tried it. Aosu feels like the loosest cube in the world and Zhanchi is very stiff. Overall, both need retensioning.

Is lube necessary in a DaYan 2x2? I recently got a 2x2 from the referred brand and the tension I found it not to pop in an annoying frequency is quite tight. Since then, I have been wondering whether it is necessary to lube it to make it usable. Also, I did use the search function and have not...

Lol, I forgot to mention I have tried blindfolded a bit, but.. well, I am really lazy. I know old pochmann method and I understand how it works, but I am too lazy to actually put it into practice. I really need these skills that are useful in real life :D.
