As I said, this is not about making app open-source, but specific part with API or just only API (or writing just documentation about it).
I used word project since every repository on github per se can be considered as some kind of "project" in itself.
But as I said I understand that you can...
Sorry for late reply, but pretty much majority of wireless card with bluetooth support have problems with connection range, and I expect there can be problem with some really old of those in aged macs, and not really only.
For me connecting the cube works but I built custom Hackintosh which has...
Hey, so basically API is what you wrote, but I want to specify some things:
1. API is way how cube communicates with phone and application, so it describes the way cube send the data, how it's formatted (json? plaintext? some kind of bytedata?), if it's encrypted, and so on.
2. All the previous...
Hiya, thanks for the update!
Though, I have the two bug reports to add.
First - why we got two CubeStation apps in the Google Play Store?
1st: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gan.cube&hl=pl&gl=US
2st: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gan.cubestation&hl=pl&gl=US...
Hey Joann, I have only simple question - when GAN will push update of CubeStation to the Google Play and App Store?
I ask because I think many people are stick with old GAN application, especially on Android where there is no information how to download new version. I mean, if you guys will push...
@Henk I have the same issue, and bought now the PCI-e Fenvi T919 wifi/bluetooth card (which contains broadcom), I wanted to get it since it supports Hackintosh too, and I to some specific stuff on macOS. For some reason when I use Asus BT-400 I get disconnects using 356i, even if my USB dongle...
I bought cube from Cubicle despite living in Poland with payment of additional 15 USD but I can resist that.
Collecting cubes is kinda my hobby and I'm employed now, so I don't think this is so "much waste of money" for me. I own now 70 rubiks cube at home.
The advantage is really better...
Hey, I still own Gan 356i v1, and I consider buying v2.
Two questions:
What improvements Gan 356 v2 has over v1?
Is this legit seller of v2 version, or he just sells v1...
I just though now the lags are not because the server connection problem, but because somehow app is badly projected/programmed etc.
And the server is hosting either on unpowered hardware, like something like ARM (raspberry pi?) or/and written in not very performant technology with not great...
1. Online Battle - it's hard to find opponent, and if I do, my opponent solve gets buggy (like the app is not receiving packets) and I get even 2-3 minute solve of opponent (and last 150 seconds are just ~10-15 moves to end solve - because I see he/she must do only PLL phase or so), then I quit...
For me the priority should be fixing the servers, I can wait for person few mins, and then I get and DNF, which is really an nightmare.
I got also few 7s/8s solves which got "DNF'ed". Imagine it's important for someone and wants to have it in best single in their profile. Whoosh.
I have the same issue, I tried with Wi-Fi (my home network) and also LTE, neither works correctly and I get 30-60kB/s download.
I hope the server fail is not releated to Gan company decisions but to some server intrasfructure problems, because paying 120$ for problems like this is... oh ****.
