Is there anyone who has tested this cube?
Mini Mo Yu Ao Long 3x3x3 Speed Magic Cube 54.5m
From the site: lightake.com
Is it good?
Is it good for corner-cutting?
What do you Think about it?
Mine just arrived a couple of days ago. If you have the normal AoLong, it is honestly the same, but smaller. It corner cuts over 45, no lockups or pops, and reverse cuts about half a cubie. Get it, it is amazing.
It's a good cube but nothing special, just my opinion. It's fast and corner cuts pretty well but can sometimes feel a bit sluggish. It has a bubbly feeling to it and at first the turning feels scratchy like the ShuangRen but that feeling goes away much more quickly than on the FangShi. I honestly think the WeiLong is better but that's probably just me. I also prefer the 57mm AoLong over the mini which is weird because I always use 55mm or 54.6mm (or in this case 54.5mm) cubes as my mains. I'm still sticking with my Zhanchi as my main though.
That sounds like great information because mine is waaay to unstable, and if I tighten it up it just feels to "blocky???" and to much like a chilong. It basically has to be the evil twin to the 55mm one because I forgot to mention that it corner twists a lot... With all that being said, I will order immediatly when I get more money
My AoLong gets a few catches due to the instability. Is this really gone in the mini version? Thanks for your help!
Btw, this is a video in which I show the catching if you want to know what I mean:
