Thanks, i hope that that wasnt sarcastic.
PLL skip on the 23, my previous PB was 24.something with no skips and H-Perm.
Take it as you wish.
Nice solve. How many LL algs do you know?

Only the 2 looks, and i know only one situation to skip OLL which i figured out on my own. Ill start learning full PLL in a week or so, i think that ill have PLL done in like 2 weeks max. Might stick to 2look OLL for a few more..
I learned a couple of OLLs intuitively too, based on 2look agls.
Why wait to learn PLL? Start now!
I need to refreshen my mind a little bit, give it some rest. My last few weeks were reaaally bad. I dont even have much time to cube too. But i should have that sorted in the upcoming week, then im free. Full PLL should go fast because i learn fast, full OLL is the problem.
Btw your times are crazy. How long have you been cubing?

I hope that one day i can have that times bro. Its okay!I never saw this post, sorry :<
I've been cubing for 2.5 years now, so I'm an oldie.
Congrats on the PBs! What were the skips on the 20.72?
That part of the sentence that you bolded, it wasnt THAT bad cubing-wise. I had so much problems in RL, plus a loss of an really close relative.. nvm.No way dude. Your times are crazy for only cubing for a month. I have been cubing for 7 months soon(had a month break for exams) and I have all official puzzles and can solve them all(wasted 3x3x3 practice time there). I did however spend the first month on only 3x3x3 and I am just better than you after 7 months. My non-lucky PB in 15.xx seconds. For you to be low 20s is really good.
I hope that one day i can have that times bro. Its okay!
It was something like cross half or more than half done, plus 1 F2L pair already in. I didnt know if i missscrambled it or something, thats why i didnt even bother writing it down. Thats why i listed it as an lucky PB!

Yeah i know, but the xcross was halfway done, you dont get scrambles like that very often.Sorry about your loss
An F2L pair already done with a cross is called an X-cross(or extended cross.) Two pairs in is an XX-cross[double ex(tended) cross], etc.
Yeah i know, but the xcross was halfway done, you dont get scrambles like that very often.
Btw since we are here, do you have any tips for practising TPS?
I think TPS just comes with time. If you're really struggling with TPS, you could probably spam algs when idly cubing, or do stuff like (R U R' U') x6 to practice.
Thanks for the tip man.Good job! One thing I would like to let you know about is that pretty soon you'll hit a wall in progress, it will slow down significantly. When I started cubing in January, I got down to 40 seconds pretty fast. Then it was slightly slower down to 30, but still pretty fast, and once I started getting into the 20s I slowed down more. I hit 30 sec about 2.5 months ago, and now I average around 23 seconds. (I haven't updated my signature in a while) So don't get discouraged if you stop progressing as much, I'd say that you're probably pretty close to hitting that wall. To be able to push through it, learn things like lookahead and try experimenting with other methods (that doesn't necessarily mean switching, it probably shouldn't actually) to learn other techniques. And looking for videos on neat F2L tricks can save a lot of time. Also work on inserting pairs and creating pairs without rotations, that saves lots of time too.
Thanks for the tip man.
I was thinking the same thing the other day actually, and i can almost feel that i will hit that wall pretty soon. I kind of feel like i went as far as i can using only 2Look OLL/PLL and my already learned fingertricks, thats why ill start learning full PLL ASAP. Today i started experimenting with something like solve the cube with no rotations at all, i must say its pretty hard. Ive noticed that my F2L sucks the most (we're talking about cube rotations), i do way too many cube rotations. Thats why im not consistent with it, but i have so much time ahead of me!
This summer ill learn full PLL and some algs for F2L cases that are pretty common, and i hope that i can reach 25s avg before the summer ends. It would be a nice goal to achieve.
I am actually looking forward to your videos! I think that F2L is a "problem" for a lot of speedsolvers that want to get faster, your tips would come in handy.Yep, no problem! And for your F2L, I'm actually editing a video on rotationless F2L that's aimed at people around your time (give or take 5-10 seconds) where the basic concept is that all of F2L can be solved and inserting using 4 basic triggers and many more slight variations on them. Try inserting pairs into the back slots with R' U R, or variations on that. (When it's out, just click on my YouTube name on the side) There are some cases that might just be easier to do with a rotation, but you should only have to do a y or y', there will never ever be a case where you have to do a y2. Have you noticed how much time it takes you to do your cross+F2L? For reference, i usually solve my F2L and cross in about 15-16 seconds, give or take, and I'm basically on the borderline of 3LLL and 4LLL.
By the way, averaging 25 seconds by the end of the summer will be no problem!!! You could definitely get there in a month. I would say that sub 20 would be a better goal by the end of the summer, or maybe at least sub 22.
Also, if you want to, you could a upload a video of a couple of regular solves and post it in the Solve Critique Thread, I'll definitely help you out with what you could improve upon!
Keep on improving! And have you tried bigger cubes yet? I feel that they can contribute to 3x3 a decent amount, if you're willing to work at it. I personally like 5x5 the best because it's something you don't have to actually set aside time for (well at first you might) and it has a good mix between fast turnspeed, but also good intuition and lookahead.
