Yeah, learning algorithms is usually pretty hard to pick up.

My 8 year old niece has been sub 40s with pure beginner's method. She executes every move with a right handed grip. Her turn speed is impressive given her awful technique and she never hesitates.

I agree I wish I had started earlier, but I started about the same time you signed up and I'm assuming that's around where you started and I average low 13. Doesn't take years.

I did start at about 9 but didn't learn to solve it properly until over 30 years later!
