I thought of a new method today for 3x3. Below is an overview of the method.
(1)First build a 2x2x3 block(3 cross edges and 2 F2L pairs) on the bottom left of the cube.
(2) then identify good and bad edges by seeing if you can match it up to its center in one move
(3) put the bad edges in the top layer and flip them using one of 3 edges only OLLs
(4) solve the remaining cross edge and 2 pairs without any rotations
(5) solve the last layer
I don't know is this would be a good speed solving method or not. Has anyone thought of this before?
