And in that first competition - he was slower by just .01 seconds in the final round. In any event with multiple rounds, he's had his best average in the final round 18 out of 23 times. Rather impressive to be so cool under pressure like that.

I think the thread title should be changed to 8.37 Official Average as it is misleading.

I understand that he got a 6.91 in an earlier round but a video of that solve is not the subject of this thread.
