So technically this is a "video". I'll be streaming my Rubik's Cube practice periodically, I'd prefer not to bump this thread if I can but I may do every now and then, so the best way to see if I'm streaming would be to follow me on Twitch or follow my Twitter @MollerzLoL.

Here's the link and I'll be mostly practicing what I want but I'll take requests every now and then.

Feliks mentioned doing this a year or two ago but I guess that didn't happen.

IMO a top 3 in the world solver streaming and constantly answering questions in chat would actually pull some viewers (not trying to be a dick, just honest)

I also think due to the 30 second delay on Twitch, Youtube would be much more suited.
For example I said "Hi Mollerz!" and maybe 50 seconds later I got a response. Whilst that was a useless chat, if I want to say "what OLL alg was that?" By the time I get the response 2-3 more solves would've gone.

Also, I'm stopping watching because it's stopping and skipping every few seconds. The NALCS stream I can watch in 1080p lagless, apparently Twitch gives priority to big streams, something I don't think Youtube does.

For someone who isn't super fast, the only way to keep viewers is chat with them, but Twitch holding a monopoly on streaming sites, not counting Youtube, basically meant they can offer laggy, 30+ second delayed content, and apparently ad-pay rates have gone down since own3d went bankrupt.

Oh no I definitely realise that that I'm not fast, I didn't particularly think I'd get many viewers, it's just for a bit of fun, and an easy way to record any potentially good solves. It'd be nice to get a sub-10 single on camera and this is just a better way.

The delay I can't fix, Twitch automatically puts it on so that there are less interruptions on the stream, meaning overall it is a smoother experience, it would be nicer if I was a partner so I can put different quality settings but alas I am not. Regardless of streaming service, it would be the same, there's a very small percentage of people who'd be able to keep up with the quality of stream some people output.

I was responding to everything immediately as I saw it, with a more popular stream then other viewers can respond to questions like "What OLL was that" sort of thing. Remember the lagg is both ways, if you ask me what my OLL was 3 solves ago, even if I were to try to respond in chat I might not even remember. Viewers bring more viewers and they can bounce the chat off each other better. You sort of arrived after it died down, I had between 8-12 viewers for a while and everyone was chatting to each other.

I was thinking of this idea a while back and figured it would be cool to have all your sessions in twitch VODs. That way you can record every solve if you wanted to and not have to worry about storage. I also liked the setup you had.
