7.11, (5.78), 6.73, (DNF), 6.20 = 6.68 :)
Done on Saturday, February 22, the first day of Nottingham Open 2014.
The DNF was a 7.4x so it would have been the worst solve anyway.
In the first round, I did safety solves on the last two after DNFing the third solve.

This is not marked as a WR on the WCA site yet due to the technicality of regulation 9i2. Its status will be updated once all other results from this weekend are in. You can view the discussion of a similar situation from two weeks ago in the Odd Stats thread.
EDIT: Its record status has been updated, yay. :D

Also, I've posted this in the General Puzzle Discussion subforum instead of the Video Gallery since there is no video (that I know of). I don't think it's necessary to indicate that in the title as well.

Next goal: get this below the 3x3 WR average again.

I'm sad I didn't get to watch/film this...
Let us hope the scrambles are good at WGC so we can hit our targets! (although by your 'trend' you have another 3 comps to do before you get a 6.57 average... :P)

Thanks everyone. It's now marked as a WR on the WCA site. :D
A few more things about this average - it's exactly 1 second faster than my first NAR average (7.68) from December 2012, and its digits are also exactly flipped from those of my first round average (8.66). :p And yay, it's part of WR podium:

I'll see what I can do about videos in the future - or perhaps someone can secretly film me?
