How to do A perm fast?

and got the BEST A PERM EVER! So much fastest for me than Beginners method(a.k.a A perm(a)).

Funny - I use this alg and find it pretty quick. It's the A perm I've always used, and since I figured out how to D2 double-flick, it's much faster. Thing is, my D2 double-flick is wildly inaccurate in actual solves, meaning my A-perms are prone to lockups.

I guess I could drill the hell out of them and improve them, but I'd be tempted by a sexy double-layer alg that eliminated them. Thing is, timed algs =/= execution in solves, at least for me. There's something about that X/X' and regrip that sometimes catches me out. When I do the alg in isolation, starting with the R' (i.e. skip the CFO+regrip), it's always fine!

Having said that, they're up there with my fastest PLLs. It's just the 5/10% of the time when I lock up doing the D2s that ruins solves. They're still much faster than 3/4 of my G perms and my N perms.

Try performing the alg without your right ring finger on the cube. When I lock up on this perm, it's normally because my right ring finger pushed accidentally on the R or B side and caused the lock. Taking it off, the alg is exceptional.

Modified J perm with less Rw moves and no AUF after.
But, like my L perms, I find the shorter alg faster even though my TPS isn't good on it.

Thanks so much for this one! I use a modified J-perm for the other A-perm but I've never found a good alg for this case until now.
