Im wanting to find another way to do LL after transitioning to ZZ. Ive been looking at ZZ-b and ZZ-d but I dont know what way would be the best. ZZ-d looks interesting but Ive read that its impractical for speedcubing, but Im not sure if I should jump from OLL/PLL straight to ZZ-b. Im not sure if all of the algorithms that Ive already memorized such as sune and antisune will transition over. What step should I take?

For 2H, sticking with OCLL (7 "2-look OLL" algs) -> PLL is just as fast as (or very close to) COLL -> EPLL.
This. OCLL -> PLL for 2H, if you're doing OH then use COLL -> EPLL. If you really want to use ZZ-b/d, then d is better for OH and has half the algs.
Or if you really hate algs and love 2-gen, then ZZ-d + phasing is near the same number of algs as OCLL/PLL (30 for P2GLL, 28 for OCLL/EPLL), but they're all 2-gen which is always nice. But there's a lot of time wasted for recog. Maybe use it OH, as the same time pausing will have less effect on the solve time?

NMLL

Easy recognition, low alg count, great for OH (first step can be RU only), and you'll save moves compared to OCLL+PLL and COLL+EPLL.

OCLL+PLL is the best, low numbers of algorithms, easy to recognize, and fast to perform. Except for a few, namely: N, F, V. Despite that, you can sub-1 all the subsets
COLL+EPLL isn't useful for 2H as there are significantly more algorithms, most of which take mare time to recognize, and many are slow to perform. If you manage to sub-1 all the algs, recognition may still be a problem
ZBLL is just...

COLL is a slight land of no return. You really won't be able to do ocll necessarily anymore due to the fact you'll immediately just start looking for the corner sticker cycle. If you're OK with that go for it.

That's not true, I used to do only COLL (except Sune and antisune) and now I only do the really good cases. I find it easy to recognize COLL and still just do OCLL.

Truth; the only way for me to "do OCLL" now is via WV & SV.

My advice:

1. Learn OCLL and 2 look PLL (12 algs)
2. Learn COLL (34 new algs)

3. Learn some 2GLL (2gll is an extra ~75 algs, but most are really easy)
4. Learn some ZBLL (just the easy cases)

Well I know in my case, I can do just ocll if I really wanted to buuuut, I'm thinking of the COLL case while I do it and thus I'm doing one alg when I know I can do another one

Why did you switch? Is it faster in your opinion to just do OCLL + PLL?

I switched cause some of the cases suck. It depends on the case, example:

I would do COLL: setup with: (F [R U R' U']3 F') or (L' U R U' L U' R' U' R U' R').

I would do OCLL+PLL: setup with: (R U R' U L' U R U' L U2 R') or (R U2 R' U' R U R' U2 L' U R U' L R')
