His crosses are pretty cool, I still make mine really basically :( First one is really neat! Hadn't ever thought of executing it like that before.

On the 3rd solve though, 3rd pair, a cool trick to do here is U' r' U R U' R' U' r, splitting up the bad cases (I hate that arrangement of pairs for last two slots), and leaving you with some easy edge control; R U R' U' y' R' U' R.

RLS was renamed VLS, since Mats made them long before, RLS is for separated pairs, and RLS AND VLS altogether make OLS, I think.
yes, except RLS is now HLS, Mats and I thought last names would be better. so yeah, VLS and HLS do make up OLS. With setups, mirrors(or from the back) you can skip OLL on every solve. But realistically, OLS is really just any algorithm for the last slot that skips OLL.

So you would call VLS and HLS subset of OLS. Like sune, anti-sune, U, L, T, Pi and H are CLL, EG-1 and EG-2 subsets.

yeah exactly, cuz there are many other OLS methods, such as MGLS and JJLS for example.

First solve....
4th pair could have different insert and after OLL you get PLL skip...

1st solve:
B2 L' R U2 B2 R2 D' L' F L' D' U2 B2 L' B R' B2 R' D2

U R' F R U R' F' R y' R U' R' // OLL
