I think this cube will be my new main.

It is so very very good out of the box. It feels like a cube that has been broken in at least 1000 solves.

Upside:
It is fast, stable and controlable.

Downside:
It is small and loud.

Do you prefer this cube over the cx3? or does it lock up more than it? I'm very interested in this cube and i'm debating on which one to get. Great review though!

I think it is better than the CX3. I mean, for the super fast people will this cube be better. The CX3 is bigger and therefor imho not suitable for sub 9 people. However, the Gan III is too small for me, so I prefer CX3 over Gan III I think. But I am not sure about that. I have done only 200 solves so far on the Gan III V2. I must say, it growing on me and I am getting used to the size. There are some really fast people who also got this cube for testing and I hope they will share their opinions here also.

What's the size of the cube? Is it 56 or 55 mm?

I also noticed that you are colour neutral which I always wanted to be. Can you give me some tips to become one?

I don't think bigger cubes make it harder to be faster...
I mean for small-handed people sure, but if the size works for you I don't think having a bigger or smaller cube will affect your performance although it will feel different.

I think the more important factor is lockups and pops. And speed/controllability.

It is 55 and a bit... ;) There is a topic here on the forum that suggest a way to become CN. The idea is that you start 5 days with solving only yellow, then 5 days only green, then blue etc. and then mix them up a bit. Try to stay away from your white crosses. I made the switch when I was averaging 30 seconds. I am really glad I did.

Well I did time 12 T-perms with both cubes and there is a good speed difference. But you are right, that the more important stuff is lock ups and controllabillity.

I was really hoping gans would make their 2nd version 57 mm. I don't know why they are not coming out with 57 mm cube. I believe most people use 57 mm cubes. Size of this cube is definitely holding some cubers back to buy this cube like me. I hope they figure out this soon.

I have spoken with the designer and he promised me that Gan IV will be 57 mm with same concepts the Gan III has.. Yeah!

3x3 Gans III Version 2 Review

Reviewing the 3x3 Gans III Version 2 that I received from Calvin's Puzzles...

I tried include only things that really matters (imo) on the video review... showing the pieces or talking about the stickers really sound like a waste of time for me, but I'll be uploading some pictures of the pieces and a bit of written review on this thread soon.

Hope the video is understandable, if you have any opinions on how could I improve my reviews please say so...
