I am excited to finally join this forum. I am an enthusiastic cuber for the last months. I use CFOP, and you can see my PBs in my signature – I average high 17s. I hope to be going to a competition soon and to meet other cubers. This forum seems really cool, and I have a few questions that I'll post soon . . .

Well, I don't have any puzzles beside a 3x3 (except having solved a friend's mirror blocks which was fun), but I don't really feel the need to get any others. I'll see, I might get a 4x4 soon (and maybe my own mirror blocks). The problem is there are no really good cube stores here in Germany . . .

I've been cubing for 4-5 months.

Well, it is a great cube, don't get me wrong, but I'm just letting you know that some people have this thing for telling cubers new to the forums to buy a new cube to shave off some seconds because it magically will make the, better.
Don't listen to them. The only thing that can make you better is

Ok, would you recommend me buying a weilong? The thing I'm scared about is that I'll lose my lookahead in F2L.

Thanks! How long did Faz actually take to get sub 20, sub 15, etc.?

With the Weilong, who knows, maybe you are slower than me because you turn to fast and loose lookahead?

But sometimes I do lockup with the Zhanchi and sometimes the M-Slices feel slow.

I average the same with almost any cube. I do a lot of slow solves, so I get faster regularly. I turn REALLY fast. 3-5 TPS.

how fast are your plls?
Do you lock up with the Weilong?

Yeah, the store has some nice stickers, but no real cubic puzzles like 3x3, 4x4, etc.

Do you know which sticker shades there are close to the shades of V-Cubes?

Hrmmm. Half brights?

The blue is a lot lighter on V-Cubes.

3-5 TPS isn't that fast. You don't NEED a weilong. Other cubes match it's performance. OP: It's a great cube, and it's my main, but it may not be for you.

Ok so to sum that up, if you want a new cube, you can't go wrong with a weilong. However don't think it will magically make you faster.
