Cool puzzle, it looks like it turns really nicely for such a huge puzzle. Did you just use really nice materials / construction techniques, or did you find something that could be useful for future mechanisms?

I think he's basing the UWR off the size of the puzzle, not the time. Although surely this is the official world record?

1) Yes, actually, since that one can have competition.
2) That site hasn't been updated since like 2009, and an updated one would probably have rather different records listed.

An "official" word record is always at a competition. It is the unofficial world record because it isn't at a competition, if this was an official event at a competition then yeah, it would be official.

"Fully drunk" has no absolute meaning and therefore completely pointless. I suspect it was listed as a bit of fun, just like my claim was. Anyway, if you looked back over the history of Rubik's Cube world records it would be nice to have the first ever solve time at the top of the list.
