[Unofficial] Maxim Chechnev on "Ukraine's Got Talent" show. Final.

In the end, this is NOT wca competition, its no big deal, take it easy)
So apparently you're allowed to cheat in comps like this? If cheating is allowed in Ukraine's Got Talent, then you've proved us wrong and we shouldn't be whining about how unfair it is to other contestants and how it ruins cubing's image.

where are latest vids/translations?

There was a performance after voting end but before summing up.

There are few words and not so much to translate.
He says he will build a mosaic portrait of the second judge Slava using 42 7x7 cubes (he built a portrait of the first judge Vlad week ago). He says it took him 1 week to prepare this performance.
It turns out that he builds two portraits at the same time, the second one is a portrait of Igor, the last judge.
In the final part Maxim solves 10 cubes under 4 minutes (cross-on-left, lol), cubes are scrambled by random people from audience.

I know everyone will hate me for this but I have to say it, it's the way I think.

I feel that he did a good show, and I don't understand why everyone hates him SERIOUSLY. I know I know, it has been said sooooo many times but that is not cheating, it would be if it were a WCA competition, is a show, so all of you hate all the magicians in the world because they make the people think they have powers or can do things that others can't??

And I know that a lot of you will yell at me: "You're completely missing the point", other will hate me... and in the end there's more people that at least know that there is something called speedcubing.

I don't hate this point of view, and I don't think it's such a horrible thing to mislead a bunch of people watching a reality show, since literally every reality show does this to some extent. The problem is that when people hear about something fake like this, people who can actually do the stuff hear about it from their non-cuber friends and bad stuff happens. It's like how non-cubers often think you're not fast unless you can do it in a second, but instead they have actual "evidence".

Sure he's doing his best to win, but there's no way you can deny the negative impact it will have on BLDers.

It's like a politician promising impossible things to get into office, and beating a politician who has more realistic goals.

The host and the judge are total hotties <3

There are three judges, you need to be more specific.

I don't understand why everyone hates him SERIOUSLY.

That's cause you either didn't read the threads or didn't understand them. Try again maybe? The magician argument in particular has already been brought up and refuted several times! You look like a total ***** if you bring this up now as if it were news.
