Overall your 3-style seems pretty good.

Did I see you in Discovery Channel in "Super Human Showdown" ? His name was also Gabriel. If that was you, I have to thank you and Discovey Channel for putting up that show in tv. Because that show inspired me to speedsolving.

Yes, that was him. The judges were perhaps a bit ridiculous and quite uninformed towards cubing but still it's great to have cubing in media like that and a great accomplishment to do 3/3 in front of cameras and spotlights.

Gabriel, you should do an advanced blind tutorial in portuguese to your great youtube channel, there's not a lot out there in our language.

Haha, they might have wanted to do some research before making that video :P

this video is kind of annoying. i bet they know that what they say about him planing out the whole solve in advance is garbage, but they just play it for the show. they should have looked up some of this stuff before they made the video.

A lot of brazilian cubers are requesting me that... I'm finishing a basic BLD tutorial (since many have difficulty learn with the nowadays portuguese tutorials). And them I'll probably do one about M2 and basica commutators.

Yeah... I just hope that all cubers understand... I tried to do my best on explaining how it really works to the judges, in front and behind the cameras. But they kept exagerating a bit... A cuber got angry with me on facebook because of the show and that made me really sad. Fortunally was a one time thing, and I explaining and he understood.

I think you did the best you could in a mainstream media show that was targeted for a general wide audience. There will always be people who won't understand no matter how much you explain and others that disagree with participating in this type of events but that's how it is. I think in the end it was a good ad for cubing.
