[Unofficial] Michael Womack's cubing videos

It seems that you fail to understand why methods become popular. It's because they're good.
People are not going to use a method that looks bad on paper AND that nobody fast uses. The only reason that people switch are because methods have objective advantages (like Yau and easy look-ahead for L8E) or if someone/a bunch of people are fast with it.

Thus, unless you can prove that this method is good, either by getting fast with it, or by showing us some objective advantages, nobody is going to use it. Nobody wants to hear a slow inexperienced cuber yell about a method that looks slow, and is slow.

Well just think about when Roux was introduced. Also I want this method to grow with better algs to make it faster also a name for it.

That's not gonna happen until you prove to us that it's worth it.

I'm not saying that this is necessarily a bad method, I'm just saying that you're not doing a great job at convincing us otherwise.

That's why we all need to watch the video all the way trough and not skip any parts of the video.
Do you think your method has potential? And by potential do you mean that someone that avgs 35 with Yau or standard redux can pick up this method and in a could of solves be sub-50? I'd think your answer is no. Making methods is cool, but making good methods is hard. This is just a bad method.

Ya I could my 4x4 PB is 2:21.xx

still, michael, with all due respect, that's nothing close to being good...even I still average 1:40ish, and that's why i'm not volunteering.
Mitch, all i recommend is that you just prove that this method isn't good at all by making a mean of 3 or so, and that should be sufficient.

And anyway, if a method is good, people will know, and the same goes for a bad method, like this one. Just saying, stop before you put another bullet in your foot, metaphorically speaking.

Michael, I've nothing to say on your method, but I can say: You REALLY have to test and retest and refine and refine some more before you release these types of things to the public. As you can see, this forum isn't so quick to accept a gift without the pretty bow. I encourage you to see how far you go with this method, make all the improvements you can think of, and come back with it when you think it's more usable. Aslo, no text explanation? Come on brother, step it up. Good luck :D

But I want input on how I can improve the method.

Why don't you call this thread " I have a great idea for a 4x4 method, but I need some help" and then make an outline video that shows the basics, instead of making a video where you talk about stuff ~everybody knows about and stuff that is not even what is on the screen "if this piece was here instead of there" when you described the corners.

And please, run your sig through a spell checker!
