Are you aloud to use the table for one handed solves?
Article A5b) While inspecting or solving the puzzle, the competitor must not have any assistance from anyone or any object (other than the surface). Penalty: disqualification of the solve.
Does this apply for OH solves?

Article C1b1) If the competitor drops or puts down the puzzle during a solve, then the competitor must not do moves or align sides until the puzzle has no contact with the surface anymore. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.

So no, you can't use the table to help you make moves. You can drop it or even put it down, but it can't be in contact with the surface while you make moves.

Even if you could, you wouldn't want to because using just your hand is faster.

if it pops during an OH solve and you put a peice in incorrectly, does that mean you have to fix the pieces while holding it?

The rules are really pretty good about covering things:
C1b2) If a puzzle defect occurs, and the competitor decides to repair it, then repairing must be done with one hand, use of the surface is optional. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.

So no, you don't have to fix the pieces while holding it - you can use the surface for that.

The WCA regulations document is available on a single webpage. Any decent browser has a search function that can handle that.

Of course, reading through the regulations in the first place (like any good competitor should have done) would also answer a lot of these questions.

But can you use your chest to allign the sides? it is not anybody and it is not your other hand, I know that it is dnf if the cube drops and you catch/touch it with your other hand, but what if you move your chest against it?

Just stop wasting your time and use your hand. It's the fastest way to do anything during a OH solve. It's called "one-handed" not "one-hand and anything that isn't a table or a person."

C1b) During the solve no other body part or any object other than the surface must touch the puzzle. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.

If you're trying to find loopholes in regulations, you should READ THE REGULATIONS FIRST. They're RIGHT HERE

What if I take a time machine back in time to a previous competition, and then use the same hand that I originally solved with to help myself do a two-handed solve? Would that be legal?

:)

This might be the loophole in the regulations, I still struggle with this one, what if you have two left hands? It says one-hand , but does two left hands count as one?

what sucks about that rule is that i sometimes fumble the cube and it hits me in the chest when i am trying to regain control xD

I really don't see how two left hands could count as one. It's still 2 hands.

C1a) During the solve the competitor must only use one hand. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.

On the other hand, in my scenario, it's the same hand. Beautiful, isn't it? :)

I'm gonna go practice one-handed solves with myself for a couple of years, and then go back and win a bunch of money at the 2007 World Championships. But eventually, you'll all already have known all about that. :)

well, I don't think that's a problem, since you fumbled...what you can't do is use your chest/arm/leg/whatever while solving, ie, doing moves

What if you do a 44 degree turn and fumbled. And the surface does the move for you? Would that be DNF?

Judges aren't trying to DNF you. If you drop the cube, and all it does is fall and move the critical 2 degrees, even if your judge could tell, I don't think he'd care to give a penalty for that, since you already lost time.

I've had an official solve DNF, though, for dropping the cube and bouncing it off the other hand to try to prevent it from dropping.

Interesting issue: I've had an OH solve at home where an edge popped and landed on my other palm. :p
