Methods do not have speeds. Can someone please explain that?

Some people have gotten sub 20's with beginner methods. It is all about how much dedication you put into getting faster. For one Roux is the ultimate method for getting faster and for the other CFOP. Both are speed methods but how fast they are for you depends on how you train with them.

One Year ago the fastest method was onlyyy CFOP... Right now ROUX is the fastest... I just looking foward for one guy who will start breaking limits in ZZ... its just a metter of time

I'm waiting for someone who does Roux to set a new WR two-handed and someone who does ZZ to set a new WR one-handed. Speaking of which, does anyone know for fact what rank the fastest Roux and ZZ (and Petrus) user is for both two or one hand?

fastest ZZer pretty sure is still phil yu and he's #2 in the world for 1H and like...322 in the world 2H

roux dunno

I remember you once said that you don't think Roux will ever be sub20 OH, makes it difficult to trust your judgement.
Yeah, but then you guys got good at table abuse. Still, the best Roux OH times are still pretty far from what people have gotten with Fridrich and ZZ, and Petrus shouldn't be too far off (although I don't know anyone who's amazing at OH Petrus) considering how much of it is 2gen.

FWIW, I also once said I'd never be sub15. Predicting the future is hard.

There are about 3 fast Roux users doing OH, and none of them really practise it.

How many people are fast with CFOP? Hundreds? And many of these actually practise OH.

The times Roux users have been getting for OH are comparable to the times you'd expect a CFOP user of the same speed who doesn't really practise OH to get. Maybe a little faster.

I don't see why you'd think that Roux is not as capable for OH. Surely it should be more capable due to the movecounts?

MEÞODZ DONUT HAV SPEDEZ.

eoline+firstblock=~7+~11=~18

whats the movecount for 2x2x3+eo in petrus?
they've got to be pretty close.

but the actual intention of my comment was to compare zz to roux and cfop which advertise low(er) movecount.
