Well the chop-stop is a bad habit that many have at home, but I deemed this a +2 because of A6d).

A6d) The competitor must fully release the puzzle before stopping the timer. Penalty: 2 seconds.

Really though, it doesn't matter /that/ much at home, but it's good to be made aware of bad habits. Don't get them wet, don't feed them after midnight, and don't take them to competitions.
