[Unofficial] [Mike Kotch] OH while doing pushups

I definitely will - I'm totally exhausted physically, but the mental satisfaction is great.
Plus, it has some great health benefits - sleep, anti-depressant, etc.

Got myself some supplements (whey protein, multis, fish oil (eww)) and I'm on my way.
Seriously, make that off-topic thread, I don't want to spam this thread with asking questions when it's about TV appearances now. :p

Thanks for the unintentional push, Mike!

PS - apparently fish oil has incredibly great effects that I had no idea about. Skin, hair, etc. Look that up!

Sooo Mike... ehm. Do you recommend anything for a kid that can't afford (and doesn't have a ride) to go to the gym? Like any workout sets and stuff? Things that I can do around the house that will help me lose some fat... xD Thanks in advance!

ive been doing the hundred pushup challenge.
so far im at 10 max. lol

:O Every christmas for 5 years (starting when I was 9) I've have a deal with my uncle : If I do 100 pushups I get 100 dollars. First 3 years were just dreaming since I was too young, but in 2010 I did 75 and last year I got up to 90 (but I had done the hundred 3 times beforehand, alone D:) I also follow the 100 pushup challenge and am starting next Sunday :D

I'll make the AMA thread tomorrow that Statue recommended and answer that over there.

For those wanting to workout at home, I'd recommend getting a pull-up bar. You can train a lot of the upper body muscles as well as the core. Combine that with push-ups and similar floor exercises and you've covered most of the muscle groups.

I've got a pull up bar at home, and I'm doing this pull-up training thing to get up to 8 consecutive pull-ups, as well as that guys pushup thing to get to 100 pushups. I'm finding his 100 pushup challenge to be better than the 100 pushup program, because the 100pushup program starts to jump up your pushup count like crazy near the end. This thing though is a bit easier seeming, more gradual, but also the way he recommends the pushups seems like it will build a lot more muscle than the 100 push up program (really slow pushups :( I'm used to fast/normal speed pushups and I have yet to hit 20 knee pushups like this, going really slowly with perfect form)

I do small ab workouts every night and every other night I try to murder my abs (only like 15 minutes of ab stuff. Scooby1961's rotisserie workout and 3min ab workout)
I would do squats for leg training, but they totally destroy my knees. I'm doing the form properly though... So I run instead, when my foot isn't injured, at least. I'm trying to work my way up to a 5k, but that's not going to well. I started almost 3 months ago on this 5 week program, but I keep getting injured (sprained foot = out for 2 weeks; broken foot = ...still out after 4 weeks :( )
