Hi, I've never read up on the 4x4, and this is one of my first times trying to solve it.

I have these last three edges unpaired, and I can't seem to pair them up.
No matter what I try, when I restore the centers it leaves me with three unpaired edges.

What should I do in this case?

Hold the cube with blue center in front and yellow on top.

R' U R - take one of those three edges and put it on top, while leaving the other two where they are
u (SiGN notation, where a lowercase letter means a two-layer turn) - pair up the yellow-orange edges
U' L' U L u' - replace the newly paired-up edge with the unpaired edge on top, in such a way that when you undo that wide turn you did to pair up the yellow-orange edge, it builds the remaining two

Also, check your centers color scheme. white is supposed to be opposite of yellow, and green opposite blue. You need to swap the green and white centers on your cube for the color scheme to be correct. To do this, hold those two centers on top and in front, and do r U2 r2 F2 r.

You should put on of the unpaired edges at the 'U' face. And the two other edge bits on the E slice (orange, blue, white, red line) bring two of the edges together using a u move (top two layers) and then swap your newly made pair out.. That should leave you with two left.. Put the two un-created pairs adjacent from each other. Make sure you have them so they are the same orientation then do |(d) R F' U R' F (d)| That should solve the edges, complete as a 3x3.

Thanks guys, especially uberCuber for this

The cube is solved, but I did run into edge parity on the last layer.
