This new cube allows slice turns to be made without gripping both of the corresponding sides. You can now do a slice move with just a flick of the finger.

"3h) No modifications are allowed that enhance the basic concept of a puzzle. Some examples of enhancing the basic concept are: new moves are possible, normal moves are impossible, more pieces are visible, colours on the backside of the puzzle are visible, moves are done automatically, more or other solved states."

The official regulations say that no modifications can be made so that new moves are possible. Is this puzzle really allowing new moves to be possible? Or is it just speeding up a move that is already possible? Maybe this puzzle technically allows moves to be done automatically?

What are your thoughts on this puzzle? I know that the turning of the puzzle would be much slower than any high-class speedcubes like the type A or type D, but would or should it be allowed in competition?

It's WCA legal, but useless in it's current state. That cube looks horrible for speedsolving.

Also you can see he has trouble with doing certain turns at certain times at one point.

In my innocent opinion, I think this takes the fun out of table abuse. Cool puzzle but it simply won't look cool anymore to do Roux OH if you do it like this.

Also, on a far more important note, that cube looks horrible to turn 2H, let alone OH.
Also.

¡Es demasiado caro que ser práctico!

this

I hope that a company that actually makes speedcubes makes use of the design. It definitely has major potential.
