Just counted my moves in a solve, and got 115. I avg 43 secs. What could I do to lower that number?
EDIT: Here's an example solve:

Use a 4LLL or if you already do that then switch to a 3LLL or 2LLL. Make sure your cross is 8 moves or less and find algs for F2L cases that are high move count or take a long time to execute. If you don't know F2L then learn it.

Forgot to mention, I know f2l and most of 2 look oll. My ill is still 4l.

EDIT: Im video taping an example solve now.

Then learn PLL first. You will reduce your times quite a bit, and your averages will be more consistent.

About the move count, just solve slowly and note in what cases you spend most of your time. And then, get better at it or just learn an alg for that case.

learn more, come back later. if you're using 4 look last layer then no **** you'll be using more moves than regular OLL/PLL. IF you make first and second layer separate then no ****, you'll be using more moves than traditional F2L

Ive seen people say that cfop should take like 60 moves though... so won't reducing my moves help a lot?

Well if you go from 4-look PLL, and go to 1-look PLL, you move count will pretty much automatically by about 20 moves. Then just work on/look up difficult F2L cases. Other than that, pretty much just practice will help your times/move count.

For the second time, Im using intuitive f2l.
anyway, just did f2l and it was 53 moves. Is this a lot?

Yeah...you should aim for 7 moves on cross (you'll rarely get an 8 move cross) and 7-8 moves per slot. This will give you 35-39, which is ideal.
