I've been cubing for 4 months and have an average of 35 seconds, on average. I use Fridrich and I know almost all of PLL algorithms(16/21), and 2 look oll. Does anybody have a guess on where I'll be in a year?
No clue. You might lose interest, just sub-10 average, forget how to cube, remain the same speed, ????, Struggle to sub-20, go for BLD instead, lose a cube, lose a finger, Break 5 WR's, ????
I was were you are and I haven't been improving since the last 3 months because I lost interest in 3x3 since so many people were doing it. Now I'm more focused on 2x2, 4x4, FMC, 5x5 and 5x5 Clock.
I get faster and faster every day, so I'm glad about that. But with me getting my new diy, being I haven't had one before, my average has dropped from just below 50, to around 34/33. It was around 50 July 5. And I got my diy the 21st. So I think I'll get around 15, but I just wanna hear veiws from cubers that have been cubing progressively for over a year.
35ish avg in 4 months? You're following an improvement curve similar to mine! Your real test will come when you try to chip off time while you're averaging 26ish.
As Lars says, I don't know , Anything can happen, I have 6 months cubing and I am sub-20, yesterday someone stole my mobilephone (N95) and I am a bit depressed , and I don't want to touch the cube... Well, I need to practise, if I could recover from this depression I will practise for the EC.
