Well if you look at the scramble no F or B single turns are ever done, just F2 and B2, so edge orientation is never changed. The scrambles don't ever do that, do they?

first part of the scramble is {R2,B2,F2,U2,L2,D2}.. so it's obvious that that part cannot be F single turns or B single turns... the rest is just whatever is needed to get the wanted position... if the scrambled wants a case where everything is oriented, then it gives you everything oriented, so yet, it is definitely possible to get such scrambles.

What I don't understand is if you are already so good (6+ tps OH is insanity), WHY would he make a fake video? And yet, to me at least, it seems pretty obvious it's fake.

I almost think he made it knowing everyone would declare shenanigans and is now just sitting back and enjoying it.

The scramble from my reconstruction is generated from Cube Explorer: D2 R2 D2 L2 F2 R D L2 D F2 L R U' L2 D2 F2 R' F2 (18f)
The actual scramble performed in the video is: L2 B2 L2 D' R2 D' L2 B2 F2 U' F2 U2 B2 L' U' L2 D2 R' B2 R2 U' (21f)
If you input this into CE the 21f generated is actually the same as the scramble performed.

If I would have a solve twice as fast as my competition PB, I would be sitting silently, watching the timer in amazement for half an hour. His reaction is very odd.

Anyone can rehearse a solve like that and practice TPS for that specific solve. I'm not going to assume it's fake but like someone said, he could have turned the camera towards the screen so we can see the scramble and when it was generated.

For everyone who thinks that his tps is amazing, I rehearsed the scramble and solve a few times and got 7.47 on it. I only average 20-22ish. His tps really isn't that great.

I'm pretty sure his comp PB 11 had just a regular PLL skip.

He only had 6+ tps for this solve because everything was so easy. I'm guessing that his TPS for normal solves is like 4ish.

We don't call aronp fake because he doesn't react His solves are obviously correct because he has done similar performances in competition.

And he would accept tests if needed.
IE: give him a scramble, ask him to tell the time within one minute and upload imediately. If the uploaded time has the same time, and the cube was in a hidden position.
Andrew will give proof after his "homework".

And about the fact of the first 21f turn solution was the same, considering prisma and cct use the kociemba algorithm, shouldn't they be the same? Good find and fast reconstructing anyhow :tu

edit - I suppose it could be real. It really doesn't matter to me either way but having the previous 2 mins of footage would give me closure if it is real.
