Hi everyone !
My name is Gaël, I am 14, and I am French ! :D My first cubing experience is about 7 years ago, but i can do the cube just since 2009 Xmas ! Today I am 80% of the time sub30, on a GhostHand II (yeah, I bought it myself, it was the cheaper I found :P) and I have : Rubik's pocket cube, 2 rubik's rubik's cube, rubik's rubik's revenge, a picture-rubik's cube with 'Château de Versailles' pictures, and a QJ pyraminx. But in fact I'm not still 14 years old, but my birthday is on the 14th November, and I will have a lot of cube (to give an idea, one of each official events, at least !)

I manhandled my first 3x3x3 some 25 years ago. I didn't have the "cheats" we have nowadays and the terrible thing intimidated quite a bit. The sore realization that it was way above my head back then made me steer clear away from any type of twisty puzzles up until 2010. Never thought I'd be solving the 3x3x3 at any point in my life, let alone speed-solving the darn thing for fun so many years later. Not to mention the 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 2x2x4 ect. Those would have made me crawl under a table to hide. Megaminx? Easy!

But yeah, YouTube helped me learn, and this site has kept me interested in something I didn't think I would ever be capable of. The sheer consistency and devotion in terms of the time I spend practicing speed-solving and solving in general, still astounds me...

Yes but I always wanted to do the entire cube :P Just one side of the cube was frustrating :P Currently, I'm in Fridrich but I've obviously begun with beginner's LBL method :)
