Best temperature to keep a cube

I kept my cube in my pocket (gets pretty hot) and when I took it out it was super smooth but kinda gummy. When I play with the cube in the cold (almost freezing these days) it's pretty smooth but it makes my hands cold which isn't good when I cube.

Having the cube at a very cold / hot temperature usually isn't good. My cube is usually a bit slower when it's kept at cold temperatures (like antoine said).

I also remember when my Lubix GuHong came in, it was sitting in my mailbox (practically cooking) when I took it out. The cube was probably one of the most disgusting cubes I have ever turned, because it was excessively sluggish and gummy. I had to wait about a half hour for it to feel nice.

my first cube arrived in winter and when i toke it out it was freezing cold
the turning was horrible and it felt like the plastic was sticking
after it warmed up the turning got slighly better and the plastic felt smoother
i would keep it at a mild temp/room temp
dont go giving it extreme temps like leaving it under direct sun in july or outside in december

I often have my cube right beside my laptop where the fan blows.
If i start cubing right after that, the cube remarkable faster than the "room-temperature" cube.

Try it

(Mine is lubed with lubix)
