how do we know, when doing the scramble, which side is top and which is is infront if they do not say?

4d) Cube puzzles must be scrambled with the white (or the lightest colour by default) face on top and green (or the darkest adjacent face by default) on the front.

It doesn't matter with these examples though, as long as you follow the scramble and solution without any random turns or cube rotations.

After looking at brest's kind reconstructions of my solves, I've noticed I need to be waaay more efficient. Still. I go for fingertricky solutions for the second block.
So this will be a roux speedsolve:
y' R U L' U' R'
d' R U' L U2 x
R' U R U R'
U2 M' U2 R' U r
U2 R2 B2 R U2 L' D2 L U2 R
U M' U M'
M' U2 M' U' M' U2 M U2

43 STM

I tend to also waste moves by doing weird ATM stuff in execution if you get me...

Edit: argh. Ninjad.

Quite a nice FMC ruined by my instinctive reaction to use a PLL just because I forced an OLL skip.

46 Snyder metric (just for fun), some silly random FreeFOPing...

Next scramble is one its way.

Trying out ZZ FMC...I like it

EOLine - L2 F L F (4/4)
Orient - y z' (0/4)
1x2x3 (#1) - R' U' L2 U' L' U L' U R U' L' (11/15)
1x2x3 (#2) - R' U2 R2 U2 R U R2 (7/22)
Orient - y (0/22)
ZBLL - R2 U R2 U2 R' U' R U' R U' R U' R2 U2 R' (15/37)
AUF - U (1/38)

Definitely could have been better, but very good for ZZ (with ZBLL)
