I've tried to sub 2 in all my pll's and now I got two left: the N perms. Could soebody make a video of themself doing the algs slow, and then fast (fast = sub 2). Thanks.

According to Bob Burton's site, his N-perms take 2.7 and 3 seconds. I think he's damn fast, maybe someone is faster. My N-perm is 15ftm, which would require almost 10tps to execute sub 2. That's pretty darn fast, I'd be interested to see anyone that could do it.

I just took an avg of 30 for the (a) case as noted on the PLL thread, and got a 2.21avg, 1.80 best. Most times were about 2.1 to 2.2, with a few really bad ones that shot the average up, but 9 of them were < 2s. For the (b) case, I got 2.16 avg, 1.84 best, 9 under 2s also. Times over 2 stdevs away from the mean I threw out (ie, a real bad 4.3 I got for the (a) case).

I'm not sure what alg you use, but I more or less use the first ones on the PLL thread with a bit of difference:
I start the (a) algorithm in the position z R, then: U R' D R2 U' R (D' U) R' D R2 U' R D'
Start the (b) algorithm in the position z R', then: U' R D' R2 U R' (D U') R D' R2 U R' D

See if that helps. Sorry, no video by me.

I use that same alg. I believe it's Macky's but I rotated it on z the same way you do. :-)
