[WR] Sam Zhixiao Wang Clock single 5.88

wow this is pretty sick. this guys got skill. do you think he'll ever break that wr single again

Yeah, the clock position change while the judge still clapping?

Correct me if im wrong
I think you're right, but I was spectating it and, as delegate, will vouch for the fact that it was solved when I looked at it, and that he never did any turns after the solve. I think you'll find this sort of thing happens very often in clock solves, mostly because judges aren't told what they have to do rigorously enough. If the judge doesn't immediately pick the puzzle up to check it, it is almost a natural instinct for the competitor to do so.

I was also judging similar competitor attempt at Indonesian Open 2011.

but I gave the competitor a DNF because he touch the clock, although it was solved
It would be Indonesian NR single if it was not DNF.

I was delegate there too.

How about some of Faz's 3x3 single WRs where someone else picks up the cube before the judge? We going to DNF that now? The judge couldn't see some of the pieces from where he was standing.

Well,
I'm not going to judge whether it's DNF or not, you were there and you know what actually happen.
But at your point, I start to think to not-DNF my competitor now.
