New to speed cubing

Hi Im Shaun. I just got into speedcubing. i can solve using the beginners method in about 1:20. I am now looking to improve my speeds. I want to learn F2L. also i tend to spend alot of time on the cross. If anyone has any good guides to F2L (intuitive or not)
or cross. Or can help me solve my problems please post back. Thank you!

This might help for F2L. There is also a more advanced cross method, but I don't think you're ready for that yet (no offence).

Alpha-V is good but you should mod it.
CubeDepot is trusted and has good shipping times depending where you live.

EDIT: Oh, and cubedepot is definitely a trusted shop, and one of the top 3 in the US. Where do you generally live? If you're in the US, it should take less then a week to completely get to you.

Oh my god! 30 minutes and you still haven't gotten your answer!
Practise your cross.
Don't bother modding your A-V, it would suck to mess up your first speedcube, the 9.21 average world record was done with an unmodded A-V. It's good enough.

Tip for the future, don't bump a post that is only a half hour old; you will get flamed.

Anyway, look at badmephisto's youtube channel; he has a cross tutorial video.

Try to plan the entire cross (no matter how long it takes, but try to work towards sub 15 seconds planning), and then solve it blindfolded (or eyes closed).
Cross can always be solved in 8 moves or less, try not to go too far over that.

They follow business hours, so you'll get one in the morning. Advanced cross is well...advanced. As stated by someone else, you're most likely not ready for that.
