what do i buy?

Hi everyone. I wanted to expand my collection and solve more puzzles than 3x3x3 . I dont wish to be a world record holder or anything but get good times(puzzle shud not lock please else i will get frustrated). My budget is around 100 dollars( need not use full of it though). I wanted to buy the following puzzles, a 4x4x4, a 5x5x5, 2x2x2, a pyraminx, a square one + lube
So please suggest what all should i buy(preferably but not neccesarily from 1 site with less shipping, which almost everyone suggests me lightake)

Thanks in advance, if the stuff(which i just felt would be cheap and best) i m choosing is not that good, please suggest better ones(not the best ones as such), the budget can be expanded(plus this stuff is much less than the budget, so do tell me better things) if needed, my mother wont say no.

I think that a V-cube 5 would be nice. Ghost hand 2x2 looks great. MF8 square 1 is great. QJ Pyraminx is good.
The lube looks like something a normal person would use haha

the only thing I would question is the 4x4

Get a Shengshou 4x4 instead, also get the Shenghou 5x5, it is much cheaper and many say it's better than the vcube.

Lol i cant help it, i dont think even i 8 cc of lubix is enough to lube so many puzzles. and there was another thread on maru lube where people recommended this saying maru lube dries(though it doesnt if left unused for sometime) in sometime and needs lots of reapplication.

And okay V cube 5 sounds good(as WRs are set with it), i wonder if shengshou is really that good. If it is, i will surely buy one instead.
about the 2x2x2, i can buy both GH and lanlan even(they are so cheap i dont care )
about the 4x4x4, i will prefer waiting for more replies

yes, for the 5x5 get the Shengshou, but it disappeared from lightake, or I just can't find it

Maru lube doesn't dry out if applied correctly. You're not supposed to use it right after you lube it, just work it in for like 10-15 seconds. After that let it sit and then it leaves a layer of silicone

Fine, i will get Maru, how much bottles of it do u suggest for this much puzzles, so that it lasts a few months? (single bottle looks too small to me)

I vote for the DaYan+mf8 4x4. Lube it with either Maru lube or Lubix and it has a possibility of popping alot, but if that happens you can always tension it. It may be a little bit on the pricier side, but it's worth it.

Seconded, Silicone spray works too, and it doesn't pop that much imo.

lanlan 2x2
dayan mf8 4x4
mf8 square 1
qj pyraminx
silicone lube(the lightake one so as to mantain uniformity in buying from 1 site, i dont know much difference between the two) + 1 bottle maru( i have no idea how much will i need).
5x5x5 shengshou probably from another site(which doesnt take much shipping and supplies soon, else i m fine with a yj also if it wont make more than a 10 second difference-i dont know)
This is quite less than the budget, so i can buy more things if u people say ( i hv no idea as such i m buy/sell noob) (maybe more bottles of maru, or maybe zhanchi/lunhui/save money) . i own a lubix guhong btw

If you want to buy more, I'd say go for something cool. Personally, I think I would take a cuboid, but that's really just a matter of taste. But at least, take a cool puzzle you don't know how to solve, then it's usually fun.
