Hold it like a boss.

If your cube gets locked up a lot, either you are using a bad speedcube or have a messy turning style. I recommend learning more about speedcubing and getting faster until you are averaging around 30 seconds in order to refine your turning style into a more accurate and precise one, as well as learning fingertricks. It doesn't matter how you hold your cube unless it is very uncomfortable for you. Your own turning style should develop on its own with practice. Then, if your cube seriously begins to hamper your speedcubing (locks up a lot, lacks acceptable M slice capability, overshoots, too rough to turn, not enough corner-cutting for your preference, etc.) and becomes an annoying obstacle to your improvement, should you try and explore the various wonderful speedcubes that are out in the market. Just keep improving and learning!

OP - how exactly are you holding it now, so that we know what you might be doing wrong?

Someone please give this guy a slap.

Okay before you start posting a new thread every hour and for every question here's my words of advice for the forums.

Hope you find the forms helpful, but just a word of advice that people get mad at. Don't SPAM the forums. Before you post a new thread (this ones fine) make sure to search for it in the top right to see if its already made. You will find that threads like "what’s the best cube?" are really not worth it considering there is no best cube. And if you want to ask a simple question I.e. Where can I buy an FII post it here: http://www.speedsolving.com/forum/sh...ghlight=answer. Trust me you don’t want to get cubers mad. You'll learn with experience on the forms. To learn more about solving methods you can use the wiki.

Overall PLEASE DON’T SPAM

Also the forum competitions are fun
