No... rouxduction is something else. It's what Richard Meyer used to do and its a predecessor to yau. This is just reduction with a roux 3x3 stage.

Why do this instead of Roux+Redux or Meyer?

I've found it to be slightly easier on recog and execution than Roux+redux, and I didn't know Meyer had made a 4x4 style until I posted this video. Ta.
