Edges supposed to be loose on a Pyraminx?

The edges on my Pyraminx are kinda loose and wobbly. I take it they're not supposed to be like this and I just have a cheap crappy Pyraminx?

Does it effect the performance? The X-Cube edges rattle like hell but it's still the best 4x4x4 IMO.

mine is the same froma cheap pyraminx, one edge in particular is really bad and when spedsolving can easily fly off

mine was loose, but i took off the tip and tightened it
its a bit hard to get off sometimes, and mines a QJ and idk what you have

As long as I hold the (center pieces?) when I move it it seems to be fine, otherwise if I hold it any other way the loose pieces will move about causing it to lock up.

I don't know what the brand is, it's made from white plastic and has those holographic stickers. Feels very cheap and light. I bought it from within the UK.

It's possible to mainly hold it by the edges. I think I often did this by mistake at first. I'm totally new to the Pyraminx.

My edges are loose, no matter how much I mess with the tensions. Mine pops alot, and even just turning a side, edges will just fall out. QJ's tend to wear out.

Seems like you either get a good pyraminx or a bad one. For me, the edges are pretty secure; if they are loose try tightening the tensions.

Mosaic stickers? My brother has one like that and it is horrible and pops all the time.
