I am getting sick of having to hop on my computer and go to Cubetimer.com everytime i want to time myself. Anyone have some prices on a stackmat (or similar) timer?

I don't think so, but it's required if you want to connect it to your computer.

Nope, the timer works by itself. The cable is for synching the timer with a computer timer (like Prisma puzzletimer or CCT).
