Which F2L algs to learn ?

Hello there

I was just noticing in a video from badmephisto that he uses some algorithms for special F2L cases that seam (at least for me) not intuitive. Usually my approch to a pair is first to split it into the both pieces (if they are paired up incorectly) and then for a pair.
But in his video, he uses some algs that are waaay more efficient than this method.

I know what you gonna say : learn intuitive F2L. Well I have learned it, but as I am always looking for ways to improve, Id like to ask you if there are special F2L cases for which it may help to learn algs (just because they are faster / more efficent).

Compare your intuitive F2L cases, to each algorithm for F2L. See which ones are better for you, and use which ones you like better. Either the Intuitive ones you already knew, or the new algs one you discovered.

Do you think it would be a huge benefit for me (~30 avg 5) to learn some of those or rather improve my lookahead ?

edge in place, corner points up

Uhh... I donno how you perform R U R' U', but it doesnt have any regrips...

Uhh... I donno how you perform R U R' U', but it doesnt have any regrips...

afaik, most people regrip for this trigger at the beginning of it. as in your thumb and middle finger are on FR and RB edges, and you regrip to put your thumb on the RD edge and your middle finger on the UR edge... no?
