I just got my FII 3 days ago and im loving it. i cut my PB by 4 sec. lubed it with lubix and its awesome. but, it overturns and locks up a bit. How can i fx this?
for overturning, either tighten the screws or turn softer
for lock ups, i dont think theres any mods, just practice more accurate turning
EDIT: I modded my F-II, the mod reduces lock ups slightly and makes turning smoother. What you do it sand down the little bumps on the corner piece (the part that doesn't show when you put the corner in.
For overturning just turn softer. No need to tighten it, you'll adapt to the cube pretty quickly. The F2 is a fairly locky cube, if you want a cube with less lock ups i would suggest a dayan cube.
Thanks! ill adjust the screws. and i have a dayan guhong. and, should i change the core to an A-V core? i did that with my dayan guhong and its amazing.
I suggest keeping the core the same. The F-II core and A-V core are pretty different in size IIRC.
As far as lockups and overturning goes, the most you can do is tightening the screws. If you try sanding anything in hopes of reducing lockups, you'll just ruin the cube.
The F-II takes a little bit if getting used to in my opinion, but afterwards it's great.
