I have a DaYan GuHong as my only cube, I want to buy two more cubes.
Can anyone suggest me two more cubes I should get?

I've watched a 25 minute review on the cubes from that site and a normal lubed GuHong.
Apparently those cubes are on par with the GuHong, so I don't think there would be a point in me getting those.
Also, the Ultimate pops.

I'd rather just buy a modded one, I'm not great with sand paper and the like.
Link to it?

Are you looking for 3x3's or new puzzles?

If it's 3x3's I agree with cincyaviation. My A-V was my main until I bought my GuHong and I'm sure if I put some time into it my A-V could compete with it I'm just too lazy.

If you're looking into two new types of puzzles and you want easy ones then buy a 2x2 and 4x4. I don't personally like 2x2. Learning a bunch of algs and methods to drop a total of ten seconds ever just isn't appealing to me. 4x4 is really fun and I like it probably second best behind 3x3 followed quite closely by 5x5. A 4x4 and 5x5 is a good combination as well. For 5x5 get a V-Cube and for 4x4 there's a ton of options. Check some reviews and comparison vids and go from there.

If you're looking for a cube that's a challenge, buy a Square-1. When I got it I hated the thing sooooo much and I still can't solve it but I found a beginner's method I like on the wiki and I'm starting to warm up to it. My Square-1 is currently sitting next to me instead of my GuHong cause I plan on practicing a bit.

A total waste of money would be either of the Lubix GuHongs. Get a new cube and get a new experience. That's my belief. I don't buy a ton of the same puzzles. I only update my cube when I think I have a potential new main I can buy. Mod your GuHong with everything Pixel 6 does here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZMDbAeAoQA

and you're GuHong will go from awesome to orgasmic.

Edit: You don't use sandpaper for the Memory mod and modding is fun. You're first one may not be the best ever. That's why I mod a lot of my puzzles. So I can get better at it. My plan is that when I get a V-6 the mod won't suck too bad.

I'm looking for another 3x3, but not another GuHong.
I want to try something new, but also fast.

maybe check out the pyraminx, havent got one yet (shame on me!) but some people think they're fun, the 4x4 is accually really fun IMO, love my shengshou 4x4, but in 3x3 i got a guhong as main, with a unmodded AV (planning to break it down to perfection instead) and a FII following close after, but thats a matter of preference though, so dont go on which cube you should get by one post, lurk around and try to find things that pops up in many reviews, like if they're smooth etc.

If you want a new 3x3 then the A-V will be very crispy while an FII is very smooth. The new cubes from Alpha and mf8 have nothing but hype right now and waiting to buy a cube and then being disappointed SUCKS

If you're only getting one 3x3 then buy yourself a 4x4 after that. If you want something fun and easy to pick up. If you want something you'll hate for a few days but learn to love go with Square-1. Either way I don't recommend you buy two more 3x3s since you'll most likely only use one of them.

Then I'd probably wait and get the Alpha CC and/or MF8 when they come. There is lots of hype about them right now.

I really like the look of the Alpha CC.
Any idea when it's released?
Also, I can't find any pictures of the MF8.

What do you mean by crispy?

The CC won't be released for a few more months. Around April-ish is a good bet.

By crispy I mean the thing is clicky as hell. I didn't really notice until I got a GuHong and once I did the 48-point edge mod on it my GuHong was super smooth and my A-V feels awful to me now.

well the feelings of various cubes is pretty hard to explain (AV = crispy, F-II = bubbly), but you understands them when you feel it yourself, but I'll try my best:

Crispy: the cube feels a little rough, in a good way, being a little clicky, dont having any cookies at home now, but grinding two cookies (preferably the rougher kind, not those smoothed ones) against eachother will maybe simulate the feel to a certain degree, just going on total memory of what its like doing that, and my memory is an epic fail, so maybe someone who has a AV and some cookies at home want to try this and tell us if it gives a hint of the feel, or if everyone just should flame me for being stupid? :O

EDIT: ninja'd perhaps?
