[Unofficial] Kian and Kyle Barry 25.71 Team Blind

From what I recall working on team blind with Kian: the corner is always at FRU, "left" means the corresponding edge is to the left of the corner (at UF), "down" means the white corner sticker is on F, and "same" means the stickers on U are the same color. Or something like that.

Sounds right...which is what, exactly? I have named a bunch of F2L cases, but I exist in a vaccuum so they're meaningless...

I'm just curious what other people have come up with...there are not yet canonical names like "OLL 25"....
Right block: R U' R'
Right join: R U R'
Back right block: R' U R
Back right join: R' U' R

Same with left side.
Then for OLL;
Cross make: F R U R' U' F'
Double cross make: F U R U' R' F'
Then names for the OCLLs. Also a few miscellaneous OLLs like "flower": F R U' R' U' R U R' F'

These are the codes me and Faz use. He also makes some up as we go along, eg: "fishy OLL" (r U R' U' M U R U' R')
We average like, 34~

Edit: Faz introduced some of these to me, which he got from somewhere, and we made the others up, or already knew them. We also know all the PLL names :p

David is almost right, just mixed up. The first Left, Right or Up denotes where the white sticker on the UFR corner is, then Left, Right, or Down denotes where the corresponding edge is, and same or switch is obvious from looking at the situation, if the stickers match up next to the edge or not. Plus, a few other tricks.

Yeah, I think the best thing about this system is that, unlike some others, it isn't abstract and requires no memorization. Everyone I've taught was able to visualize the corner as up, right, or left and then the edge as left or right, and then the orientation as same or opposite. It's very simple but can also be pretty fast, as I think we evidence. I think it has great potential, so long as it's extended to when the pair isn't connected. We do maybe 50 team blind solves a year and neither of us are consistently sub 14 cubers, so there is room for a great deal of a improvement from us or someone else with this system.

Just change the edge location system to Right, Front, Left, Back, and Down for UR UF UL UB and RF locations respectively.

Wing, tail, side (these sound distinctly different than the other words) for LF LB RB respectively. In these cases switch/same is determined as though you were bring the edge into the U layer with and R/L move, and in the case of cornerUP it's determined as though the corner is on top of the edge.
