Hello everybody,

Occasionally when I cube a lot, I get blisters on my fingers. Just like beginning guitar players. I currently have one on my index finger... But I had blisters from R' with the pinky (OH) too... Do you guys know if there are ways to prevent this?

I used to get blisters on my hands during winter. I eventually found out that it was caused by the heater in my car blowing on my hands, making them sweaty, then the sweat caused them to blister. That might or might not be an issue with you too.

Generally if you see a blister starting to form, you need to lighten up and let it heal, otherwise it will probably just get worse if you aggravate it.

I generally just open them, suffer through the pain for an hour/ a day/ whatever, then the skin takes a while to grow back, so you can't blister there for a while. I have a rare skin disease that causes extreme blistering from everyday things like holding a pencil too long, wearing shoes, and even cubing (but I cube anyway :P). If absolutely necessary, band-aids work well, as long as they aren't the dollar store, plastic, slippery ones, because cubing with those sucks...

"You have a woman's hand, milord!
I'll wager these dainty pinkies never weighed anchor in a storm."

Blisters from cubing?
This sounds like your hands are suffering from a serious lack of manual labour.
