Hey guys,

I recently noticed that I sometimes end my scrambles (not the computer generated ones) with sort of an F' with my right ring finger, and it's a pretty nice and quick move... But after thinking about this, I came to the conclusion that I never actually use it in a solve. So I looked for an opportunity to use it, and here it is. It's a shortcut for the BR-pair (didn't know exactly how to remove the FR pair from the pic.). Probably a fast 5 move 2 gen for most ppl, but it turns out you can do it in 4 moves too!

Grip: left hand is standard. For the right hand: thumb on DR, index on URF, middle on UR and most important, the ring finger on the UBR sticker.

F R2 F' R2

I do it more like F (R l) D' (R' l'), but that just looks weird.

Is this old news? idk. Tell me if you like it!

hi. it seems smooth. but am i doing something wrong?.. cos for me the Red green CE is popping out of its solved slot. Or is it supposed to be used when that slot is empty?
EDIT: Never mind. I didnt see the image carefully. :P

btw:
David: R U R2' U' R is just as fast, and allows easy lookahead.
Im not able to execute this. not getting the "result" :P can sum1 pls help.

You realise it's about the BR pair, right, the red-green.. Not the blue-red?

haha nice alg.. if i even see this case, i would use the F R' F' U' R U' R' U R.
how often does this case even come up? typically i would just track the edge and figure out how to solve it after the first pair is inserted.. is it common?

He said in the original post to ignore the FR pair.
