Collection of letter pair lists

A previous thread I made in here got closed a while back for using it for "note taking" of the sorts, I'd like to first mention that this isn't any sort of note taking, rather, it should help people when they are first collecting their letter list .

I admit, my letter list is 237/575 complete. I went through CH's entire list and took what I liked, and I'm left with what is in the spoiler. (With the exception of adding Chris Hardwick in there / Mike Hug some hay, and like 1 more)

I figure in the end, a big list with many options to choose from, will be formed. Thus easier for many other people just starting out with letter pairs, to form their own list. And in the process I can help fill mine up .

At this point I've only gone through and taken CH's suggestions from his list. I've done no work on thinking up some on my own (though I know there are many I wouldn't be able to think up some for, especially the X's)

I'll be going through my entire list tomorrow to expand upon.

This is preparing for possible multi/4x4x4/big cube bld (though I started this thread for 4x4x4 preparation)

My 3x3 letter pair list is something like 80% complete but it's in my notebook. I'll add it when I get around to typing it all up.

I too have recently been going through that same list.
I just wanted to say a good way to both learn them and to remember them is to type them into Anki. Then you can review them and have a place to store them.

I've been using SRS for a while now. I used it to learn BH corners and I'm currently using it for edge cycles.dignity Imo it's a good way to learn algs, although custom software would be needed to apply it to LL algs with recognition.

One day I'll post my word list; I won't call it an image list because I incorporate adjectives and verbs also.

For the LL recognition, you can put in pictures of the cases.

Sure, but then you have to make each image, and if you want AUF that's x4, and if you want CN that's x6. Custom software would be able to generate a random picture from the alg. I don't know if any LL trainers use SRS algorithms, but they should.

Isn't Chris' list made of one syllable words? Your list even has letter pairs with two words which kind of defeats the point of premade lists (in my opinion).

If the list was for audio pairs, yes it would defeat the purpose. However, these are images. One syllable words are used in the auditory system - that is you remember the string of words rather than visualise an image.
